On Dec 28th, this lovely teenager, whose birthday was yesterday went missing from Baltimore. Originally from North Carolina, visiting her sister in Maryland, she was last heard from via facebook the Tuesday after Christmas….Now 2 weeks later and there still no media attention for this girl. I mean yesterday they talked about the damn snow storm for hours and not once was she mentioned. Sad. Maybe it’s the recent shootings, the birds and the fish mass death, her being black, her family not being rich, I don’t know…all I know when Elizabeth Smart went missing EVERYONE and they mama knew her name…Regardless of the whys and the why not Phylicia Barnes is not on every news outlet doesn’t even matter…she is still missing.

I hope, like Elizabeth Smart, she is alive and returns in less than 9 months to her family….

I consider Glenn Beck to be one of the most dangerous people in the world.

I have no idea how he continues to be able to spew his hate.

This does not, however, mean I condone violence against him. I have more personal ethics and morals then that man ever will.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has taken blame for the recent death of 200 starlings in South Dakota.  Once thought to be caused by severe cold, the USDA admitted to poisoning the birds because the were pooping on feed at a nearby feedlot. 

The USDA used bait laced with a poison called DRC-1339.  Official reports about the poison reveal that after ingestion, birds could suffer up to 50 hours before death. The DRC-1339 ceases an animal’s kidney function and wastes will build up to toxic levels. The birds will become “inactive” then “comatose” and eventually die.

Sounds grisly.  The USDA poisons birds to protect feed on a feedlot.  Sad that the USDA is so casual about the whole thing like poisoning animals is just all in a days work.  Their only response was, “we were surprised they [the birds] got so far” after being poisoned. The bodies were found scattered ten miles away.

What the fuck, USDA, you can’t go around mass-murdering because of birdshit!

Just to share a few of the threats (**TRIGGER WARNING**):

“I got e-mails that said, ‘Die You Cunt,’ and ‘May cancer find you soon,’ ” she tells The Progressive. “And people are posting my address on the Internet with their messages that are really crude and ugly and violent.”

According to the Center for Constitutional Rights, several death threats against her have been posted on Beck’s website.

Here are a few:

“Be very careful what you ask for honey…A few well placed marksmen with high powered rifles…”

“Maybe they should burst through the front door of the arrogant elitist and slit the cow’s throat.”

“Somebody tell Frances I have 5,000 rounds ready.”

“We should blow up Piven’s office and home.”

“Let’s go string her up.”

“Snap her little chicken neck. This pinko filth needs a long dirt nap.”

Anyone remember Byron Williams? I’m loathe to believe that all of these are idle threats. 

I’d forgotten, so thanks for the reminder — we damn well better remember Williams.

Also I bet a lot of the people who get in on this death threat shitstorm also think that hip-hop and violent video games are “ruining the country”.
