Hey, I hadn’t even thought of that.  So true.  I get so sick of that attitude, like the Internet’s only for the self-absorbed.  I mean yeah, there’s a lot of that, but there’s also obviously tons of interesting blogs and news sites and stories (oh shit those free stories people post online are my favorite thing about the Internet TOTALLY) and all sorts of cool stuff.

Plus, you know, the whole deal about allowing for gathering spaces not limited by geographic location and personal safety issues and mobility limitations and all that other shit that gets in the way in flesh-life.

it’s funny because she says that people should stop whining right after whining herself. funny enough, poor/homeless people don’t have any place to plant gardens.

I wish I could fucking plant a garden. Too bad I not only don’t have a home of my own but even the person who took me in doesn’t have any space for gardens.

Have you heard? 30,000 protesters flooded the Wisconsin state house, and a group of state senators has literally fled the state – all to fight back against the worst union-busting state bill in recent memory.

What’s happening is incredible, but the national media isn’t paying enough attention. Help spread the word and stand up for Wisconsin’s workers by updating your Facebook status to:

“I’m standing with the teachers, nurses, social workers, and everyone battling Wisconsin’s terrible anti-worker bill. If you’re with me, please post this as your Facebook status.”

Governor Walker has proposed a draconian bill of cuts targeted at public workers who make our lives better every day. In reality, the bill is an anti-union Trojan horse that would decimate the rights of thousands of Wisconsin workers to fight for better benefits and working conditions.
