Luis Villanueva is currently being held at Broward Transitional Center in Florida. He has been detained away from his family since November 14th, 2011. He has a wife and two daughters who need him home, without him they are struggling to make ends meet. Luis’ father was murdered and has been getting death threats and could be killed if he is deported.

For each day Luis is detained tax-payers are spending $166 for his detention. Luis’ committed no crime and now as tax-payers we have spent over $40,000 detaining him. Why?
