We have reached a critical time in Leonard Peltier’s fight for
freedom and yet we have many more miles to go before freedom is won.

You can help us defray the cost of air and ground transportation,
lodgings, meals and other incidental expenses.

 How?  Be a “travel buddy”.  Purchase travel miles
 for $1.00 per mile.  It’s easy.  Donate online at
 <http://www.whoisleonardpeltier.info/miles.htm>.  Click on the
 Buy Now button, enter the quantity of miles you wish to purchase,
 and provide all other requested information.

 For example:

• Purchase 120 travel miles ($120.00).

• Purchase 60 travel miles for $60.00 (equal to $5.00 per month,
or roughly the price of a cup of coffee at Starbucks).

• You can sponsor any number of miles, in fact-30, or even 12
travel miles (equal to one mile or $1.00 per month).

Each of us surely can afford to purchase 5 miles.  So, please
sponsor attorneys and other Peltier representatives as they travel
to Washington, DC, to influence a clemency decision.  Sponsor
attorneys for trips to Coleman, Florida, for meetings with Leonard,
too. (In 2010 alone, such attorney-client visits cost the LPDOC
over $8,000. Due to legal strategies in play, we expect attorney
expenses to climb-potentially double-in 2012.) Please also sponsor
Peltier representatives as they travel to important meetings and
events to help gain support for Leonard’s freedom.
