{ attention: writers and fans of writing }

first off, here’s all of my writing i’ve posted here so far (link).

second, i am currently planning a ~major writing project~ and i will need some test readers should i ever actually get any real work done on it.  i might also be willing to work on this or other projects with other writers (actually, even if you just, like, give me ideas and i do all the writing, i’ll still credit you if i ever get the thing written).

i am also nearly always willing to just e-slack-off with other fans/writers, chat about characterization and storytelling devices and other such stuff.  talking helps me think.

my writer-y interests (also relevant to my current project) are generally speculative fiction-related — mostly sci-fi and horror.  i am very fond of the intersection of weird SF/horror stuff with realistic emotionally honest character-related stuff.  i have an intense interest in archetype-twisting/playing with tropes and i love analysis.  i suggest you read my “about” page (link) if you want some idea of my POV (cultural, demographic, identity-based, etc.).

should you choose to talk to me, i promise to try to repress my neediness and try to make it a two-way street.  if i can’t help you with your projects, i also have a folder full of over 2,300 funny pictures from the INTERNET (and i’m nearly always willing to do image descriptions, there are very few times when anything gets in the way of my doing them).
