petitions, phone call/fax/email/letter campaigns, and the like, listed in no real order.  this is not a hugely thorough list.  “urgent” and “action alert” tags are probably better for keeping track of stuff like this (although there will be a lot of repeat posts).  but it’s also good to have this shit indexed (when i remember to).  mostly to keep the old-but-still-active stuff easier to find.  update: lots of these are old as hell, some are inactive, and i really need to clean this up, sorry.

if you can’t do these, passing them around helps too, if you can do that.

want to call United States government people who don’t have their own TTY/TDD services?  you might be able to call their numbers through the Federal Relay Service.  [here’s a link to their website], and their phone numbers are 711 and 1-800-833-6388.

free internet faxing places (sorry i know i need to find better ones):

CONTENT NOTICE: many things linked below describe the awful things the campaigns fight against.  reading them could cause trauma (mainly if they’ve happened to you/in your life in some way).  these things include many kinds of bigotry and oppression, violence, rape, and murder.  also attacks by police, kidnapping, abuse, partner abuse, starvation, torture, forced drugging, and genocide.  and some talk of suicide and natural disasters (they’re relevant to the causes).  that said, PLEASE HELP if you think you can handle it.  and i’ll try to describe the links briefly.  this means i do sometimes have to mention traumatic things, but not necessarily in detail.  although there will be some times where detail is necessary to describe anything at all.  i’m sorry.
